Kansas Ignition Interlock Device Laws

License Suspension
Administrative Suspension
In Kansas, you can be charged with DUI if you drive with a BAC of .08% or above. A driver who is stopped for suspicion of DUI will be subject to an automatic administrative license suspension if he or she fails or refuses to take a field breathalyzer test.
Judicial Suspension
Drivers convicted of DUI by a court are also subject to an additional court-ordered license suspension, as well as jail time, fines, and other court-imposed penalties.
